Today's marketing machine is forcing the marketing industry down a darker and darker path, like many industries. Marketing automation, AI, clickbait, and addictive social feeds are just a few reasons why we feel less human after being on our phones for too long.
Luckily, I am not one of those marketers. Staying human-centered is a marketing strategy that works time and time again. Since day one, it has been my approach because I know how toxic or helpful the media can be, especially for vulnerable populations. That's why I started Intentional Marketing and Communications.
I can't wait to attend this year's Conference on World Affairs on April 9 - 12, 2024. Many sessions will focus on the intersection of digital media, advertising, journalism, and human rights. Thank God for that.
Â
I wanted to highlight some of the sessions I will attend and hope to meet some of my media, communications, and humanitarian network there. Take a look, and register. Thanks to the University of Colorado Boulder and its supporters, this conference is free.
